How to Find the Black Dye Merchant & What They Sell

• Location: Black Dye House, Teshio River, Teshio Ridge

The Black Dye Merchant can be found by following west of the Teshio River in the Teshio Ridge region of Ezo. Follow along the road to find the black dye banners, and at the final house, you’ll find the merchant waiting by the door. If this is your first time visiting the Black Dye Merchant, then her stock will be limited. Players can unlock additional items to purchase from the Black Dye Merchant by completing “The Kitsune” main tale’s Black Dye House Puzzle (found here).

White Dye Merchant Location in Ghost of Yotei

The White Dye Merchant can be found to the west of the Yotei River. Follow west from the “Y” in “Yotei” on the map, and follow among the white blossom trees to locate the home of this merchant.

• Location: Crimson Dye Beach, Stone Jaw Coast, Ishikari Plain

The Crimson Dye Merchant is located in the northwest region of Ishikari Plain. Specifically, players can find the Crimson Dye Merchant on the Stone Jaw Coast’s shoreline, where they will come across the Crimson Dye Beach (just above the “N” in “Stone” on the map). However, the Crimson Dye Merchant will not be present, and you will need to signal her to arrive via boat. To make the Crimson Dye Merchant arrive, light the campfire found in the north area of the Crimson Dye Beach (pictured above).

Players can find the Green Dye Merchant by following the Niikappu River upstream, and once they’re just above “Hidaka Grove” on the map, they can follow into the grasslands to find the house and the green banners, with the merchant just inside.
